Shalersville
Shalersville Township has been awarded a $5,000 Placemaking Grant from the Akron Cleveland Association of Realtors (ACAR). Only one project in each of Portage, Summit and Cuyahoga counties received funding, and Shalersville was selected for Portage County. The grant will support the creation of Veteran’s Point, featuring a U.S. flag installation, benches and landscaping enhancements.
