I found it interesting that the representative from Bitdeer said that the daily water usage was 375 gallons. About the same as a household uses. I went back through my water bills and calculated our household usage per day. I came up with usage that was less than 90 gallons a day. I don’t where he got his figures but they are way off target. As the saying goes “his math isn’t mathing”! Who are they trying to fool?
I understand the need for data centers. In my opinion they need to pay for improvement in our electrical grid. They need to generate most of their own electrical needs through solar or wind energy. They also need a good water filtration system to eliminate all pollution problems they might cause.
We do our research to understand the issues and don’t let ourselves be bamboozled by fast talking representative who push false rhetoric.
